This Privacy Policy describes the personal and non-personal information collected by Audiobyte LLC (“Songclip,” “we” or “us”) when you visit our website (the “Site”) and how we use that information.

About Songclip
Songclip operates a music platform for developers. The Songclip API, made available to developers under license from Songclip, allows developers to integrate the world’s foremost library of music clips, searchable by lyric, artist, title, genre, expression, holiday, mood, and more, delivering fully compliant music clips to enhance user experience, drive engagement, increase revenue, and make everything more fun.

Information Collection and Use
We collect data from the Site that consists of personally identifiable information and anonymous data that consists of non-personally identifiable information, as described below.

Anonymous Data
We and our service providers collect anonymous data about how people use the Site. Anonymous data is data gathered in the background without direct input from the user, or is information gathered from user interactions, and which, in either case, does not identify someone individually (“Anonymous Data”). For the Site, we may collect similar details such as page views, session lengths, the number of times the Site is visited, IP address, and browser type. We reserve the right to use and disclose Anonymous Data with third parties as we deem appropriate.

Personal Information
We collect information provided by users who contact us via the Site that can identify the user individually, such as name and email address. We use personal information on a limited basis as described below.

Newsletters and Information
We provide account holders with our newsletter and other information (“Newsletters”) through the email address provided by the account holder. Users may opt out of receiving those Newsletters at any time by unsubscribing following the simple process outlined in the email. Newsletters are provided through MailChimp, with whom we share email addresses for the sole purpose of fulfilling newsletter subscriptions.

Support
We may make available through the Site features that provide you the opportunity to submit your email address and/or phone number in order to receive support from us. We use that information solely to send you the information you requested via email. If you submit a support request, we may share information you provide in your support request, which could include your personal information, with our support providers, but only for the purpose of providing support to you.

Account Registration and Use
Depending upon how you work with us, we may allow you to create an account. Through account registration we collect your name, your email address, password, and contact information (collectively, “Personal Data”). Personal Data is used only to identify you with your account in order for you to use the account and for us to contact you.

Information Sharing
As noted above, (i) we may share Anonymous Data for any purpose; and (ii) we may share personal information for the purpose of providing support and for delivering Newsletters. Children
We do not knowingly collect or maintain personally identifiable information from persons under 13 years of age, and no part of the Site is directed to persons under 13. If we learn that personally identifiable information of persons less than 13 years of age has been collected without verifiable parental consent, then we will take the appropriate steps to delete such information.

Security
Songclip takes appropriate steps to ensure data privacy and security through various hardware and software methodologies. However, we cannot ensure or warrant against all risks with regards to the security of that information, so information you choose to transmit to Songclip and which we store is provided to us at your own risk and Songclip does not guarantee that such information may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our safeguards.

Do Not Track
Currently, we do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser features, but we may do so in the future as industry standards evolve.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the changes on the Site and update the last updated date of this Privacy Policy.

Like many websites, we may use cookies and similar technologies, such as tracking pixels on the Site and analytics tools on the Site, (collectively, “Tags”) to collect additional usage information from the Site. Most browsers allow you to disable cookies or set your browser to alert you when cookies are being sent to your computer.We and our service providers use analytics tools, including tools provided by Google, for Google Analytics and MailChimp and others (“Analytics Tools”) that use Tags to collect and analyze Anonymous Data about your use of our Site. These links lead to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and include negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and health care providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
